Order Processing and Shipping
- Your order will generally be processed and shipped on the same day.
- Shipping time for Standard orders is generally within 2 to 7 business days.
- Standard orders will be shipped via FedEx ground, UPS ground, or USPS
- Special shipping (3 day, 2 day, and next day service) is available upon request. Please call Customer Service at 1-800-246-2405 (USA Only), 1-480-917-4742 between 9 AM and 5 PM MST.
- Tax is only applicable if you are a resident of Arizona.
Our goal is to ship your order as quickly as possible. If you decide you must cancel your order, please do so by calling our toll-free number 1-800-246-2405 USA only, within 4 business hours of order placement or before your item has been shipped – whichever comes first.
Email cancellations cannot be accepted. Orders cancelled after the 4 hour limit, but before shipment, will be charged a 10% cancellation fee. Once the order has shipped, it becomes our customer’s responsibility and a Return Authorization Number must be obtained once your order has arrived.
Should you decide to refuse receipt of an item when delivered by UPS, USPS, FedEx or common carrier and legitimately ordered from us, credit will be issued for the item, minus shipping charges and minus a 20% restocking fee. The credit will be issued once the item has been returned to us and after inspection by our return specialists.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, APO & FPO and US Territories
- Standard ship items are NOT shipped FREE to Alaska, Hawaii, APO & FPO and US Territories
- For shipping to AK, HI, APO, FPO, US Territories, please call Customer Service at 1-800-246-2405 (USA only), 1-480-917-4742 between 9 AM and 5 PM MST.
We gladly ship orders to addresses outside the United States. We ship USPS Global Priority Mail. Call Customer Service for a shipping quote at 1-480-917-4742 between 9 AM and 5 PM MST.
Note: Due to the high cost of international shipping, the following provisions apply:
If the Purchaser must return items for either refund or replacement, the Purchaser is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs incurred to ensure return delivery to Git’Um Fed. The Purchaser is also responsible for payment of all shipping and insurance costs necessary for Git’Um Fed to ship replacement equipment to the Purchaser. It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine if the item is legal for import and allowed in your country BEFORE you order, any item(s) seized by customs are the responsibility of the customer. Any taxes or duties levied by the buyer’s country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Incomplete or Wrong Shipping Addresses
If an order is returned because of an incomplete address, incorrect address, is undeliverable or refused, the customer will be required to pay the actual shipping cost to re-send the item. Be aware that certain shipping carriers charge additional fees for address correction services.
All of our products carry a 30 day money back guarantee. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days. Product must be returned intact with all parts in a clean, like new condition. Care should be taken to package all the parts in the manner in which it was received to prevent damage during shipping and/or lost in transit. Free shipping and handling does not apply to returned merchandise. In case of loss, it will be the customer’s responsibility to file a claim with the carrier. For a return authorization number, please call us at 1-800-246-2405 USA only or 1-480-917-4742 between 9 AM and 5 PM MST for instructions. No Product will be accepted without this return authorization number. Upon receipt of the product, it will be inspected for damage or missing pieces. In the event that any item has been altered, modified, or re-engineered, no credit will be given for said item. After final review by the returns department, credit will be issued for the unit or any parts or items deemed restockable.
Horizon Design and Manufacturing LLC agrees (at its option) to repair or replace for the original purchaser, products manufactured by them and found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. Warranty will be voided if damage is caused by accident, misuse, fire, water, acts of nature or animals, or by attempted repair, alterations, or modifications, by anyone other than Horizon Design and Manufacturing LLC. The foregoing is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of Horizon Design and Manufacturing LLC. In no event or circumstance shall Horizon Design and Manufacturing LLC be held liable for consequential or special damages or any other expenses, which may arise in connection with the use of such products.
Horizon Design and Manufacturing LLC, its retailers, dealers, agents or anyone associated with Git’Um Fed.com or Horizon Design and Manufacturing LLC in any way either by implication or expression ever intends for Git’Um Fed Automated Animal Feeder to take the place of human caretakers of any animal. Our desire is to assist in their health, welfare and ease of care. We recommend that animals never be left alone and unattended for extended periods of time for any reason. Git’Um Fed will not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, or mishaps involving directly or indirectly the use of any Git’Um Fed product.
